Surprise Engagement At De Machinist Rotterdam.
With his 30th birthday coming up, Arjan and his partner Algina decided to throw a party and combine it with a surprise engagement announcement. They chose the very cool venue De Machinist in Rotterdam. I met with Arjan a week before the big event to check out the location. For anyone who hasn't been there before, De Machinist is a very cool venue located in the historic former Shipping and Transport College. During renovations, old books and school reports where found among the debris but even better, a secret: room 6 on the ground floor was purportedly used as a 'secret room' accessible via a hidden staircase (although nobody knows why it was there). Still, makes the premise all the more intriguing!

Unless of course, you're like the many smart brides who already have.
